If there were issues with the driver installation, this step should resolve the problem. Otherwise, proceed to Step 3.
Step 3: Ensure the Device is Connected and Powered On
Check the product usage page or manual to confirm that the device is properly connected.
Reference pages:
Make sure all cables are connected correctly according to the product usage page, Quick Start Guide, or online manual. Avoid using wireless connections in this step. Check if the product's LED indicator is on. If all cables are connected correctly but the LED indicator is off, proceed to Step 5.
Otherwise, go to Step 4.
Step 4: Driver Check and Restart
For Windows OS, try running the driver with administrator privileges.
Go to [HuionTablet] > [Settings] > [General], and if the Administrator Privileges button is displayed, click it and wait for the driver to restart. If the button is not displayed, skip this step.
If the driver shows a clear error message (such as "Not Connected"), return to Step 1. If the driver functions as expected, test whether restarting the driver has resolved the issue under normal usage conditions. Otherwise, proceed to Step 6.
Step 5: Configure and Calibrate
In Windows, when the touch input goes to another screen and not to the Cintiq, it can be calibrated as follows:
Windows Settings>Hardware & Sound>Tablet PC Settings>Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input> There click the Setup button next to "Configure your pen and touch displays" and follow the directions. If the calibration window does not appear on the desired screen then press Enter to toggle to the next screen, then tap the screen to select it.
Now touch should be properly calibrated to the desired screen.
