Causes of the Issue
If pressure sensitivity is not detected even when enabled, the cause may vary depending on the drawing software, driver, or usage environment. The most common causes are:
Pressure sensitivity is not enabled within the software.
The driver is not installed correctly.
The application you are using is not compatible with the operating environment.
The application itself has issues.
Windows Ink/Wintab settings.
Solutions
If pressure sensitivity is not detected, please check the following points:
Check the Application Version and Operating Environment
Make sure your application’s operating environment (OS and version) is compatible. If your OS and application version do not match the supported environment, pressure sensitivity may not function correctly.
Enable Pressure Sensitivity in the Drawing Software
Pressure sensitivity will not work if the application software does not support it. Additionally, some software requires you to enable this function separately, so make sure to check the software settings. Refer to the official site of each software for details.
Reference pages:
Reinstall/Update the Driver
If your application supports pressure sensitivity but it does not work properly, it is possible that the specific software is not correctly receiving the driver information. Try uninstalling the driver, deleting related files completely, and reinstalling the latest driver from the official site. Then, reconnect your computer.
Reference page: How to Install/Uninstall the Driver
Reset the Drawing Software Settings
If possible, delete the configuration files within the software to restore the default settings. (Note that all settings will revert to their defaults.)
Run the Driver with Administrator Privileges (Windows Only)
Try running the driver as an administrator.
Steps:
On the home screen, right-click on the driver (app name: HuionTablet).
If the right-click menu appears directly, choose "Run as administrator."
Enable Windows Ink in the Driver (Windows OS)
When using a Windows computer: If your software supports Windows Ink, enable this setting in your driver.
Reminder: Ensure your drawing software uses the same protocol as your tablet driver. If your drawing program uses WinTab32, disable Windows Ink on your driver. Restart the driver after changing protocols: Windows Ink to WinTab32 and vice versa.
For CLIP STUDIO PAINT, Adobe Photoshop:
Enable Windows Ink
- In CLIP STUDIO PAINT, go to "Preferences" > "Tablet" and change the tablet service to "Tablet PC."
In the HuionTablet driver, check "Enable Windows Ink."
For Adobe Photoshop, enable "Win Ink" in the driver.
If enabling Windows Ink does not resolve the issue, try enabling WinTab.
Enable WinTab32
- In CLIP STUDIO PAINT, go to "Preferences" > "Tablet" and check "WinTab."
In HuionTablet, disable "Enable Windows Ink."
In Adobe Photoshop, select "WinTab" in the driver. In HuionTablet, disable "Enable Windows Ink. "Click “Software Diagnosis” in the driver settings and click “Enable” to enable Wintab under Adobe PhotoShop.
In HuionTablet, disable "Enable Windows Ink."
Repair the WinTab File in the Driver
For CS6 and previous versions, if the WinTab32 version is correct( showing 9.00.00.01) in Step 1 but has the issues mentioned above, please directly click “Enable” to enable Wintab under Adobe PhotoShop.
Steps:
Open [HuionTablet] > [Settings] > [Version Info] > [Software Diagnostics] > Click "Repair" under Wintab32.

Contact Official Support for Each Application
Check if the issue occurs with other drawing software. If pressure sensitivity does not work only in specific software but functions properly in others, the problem may be caused by the specific application.
If you have tried all the above solutions but still experience issues, refer to these pages for further improvements:
