Device Disconnected

Hi there

We brought a Huion GT220 V2 for my son for last Christmas and its 29th March and we have still not managed to get it set up correctly!

I have just brought a new computer as my previous laptop was very old and I thought that this might just be stopping me from setting up correctly - however, I still cannot get the Device Connected message and I just don't know what I am doing wrong???

Can anyone please help me!

With many thanks, Andria

  • hi i am trying to get my 'new1060 plus' to work with windows 10. i tried using the newest driver (14.8.90) and it installed fine but says its disconnected. i tried uninstalling that and using an older driver (12.4.2) and it STILL will not work. I do not have an antivirus running at the same time, the light turns on when i touch the buttons on the tablet and when i touch the pen to the surface of the tablet as well yet it still says device disconnected. I have also tried multiple usb cords and plugging it into a different laptop to no avail. I also made sure to reboot after installation. I am running windows 10. The serial number for my tablet is 6CT18SH03324

  • Hi Taylor, kindly install driver version 12.4.2. Version 14 and 15 drivers are not compatible with your tablet. But if this still do not work, kindly send an email to service@huion.com so we can test your tablet further using our QC software.

  • I'm having the same issue, where can I get the 12.4.2 drivers? I didn't see them on the site.
  • Hi Dr. Caticus, if you are looking for the New 1060 Plus (8192) driver you've mentioned that you have in another forum post, you don't need the 12.4.2 driver since the latest driver for your tablet is the version 14.8.90. Kindly refer to the other forum post for more information. Thanks!

  • Hi I just received my son Huion HS64 Special Edition. I tried using it in paint and in pdf. But after awhile it crashes two time. Then when I open it again it was disconnected. Can you please send me the proper driver for this, I think I installed the wrong driver. Thank you so much
  • H1060P tablet, Windows 10, driver v14.8.90.1126. Reinstalled the driver, rebooted my PC after each try and kept everything off & device disconnected then connected it after installation.
I keep getting "device disconnected", can't click anything in driver besides "close" and official site, admin privileges also were granted to it. Nothing. I can't get it to work. Can't even open settings in driver, it just doesn't react to it.

  • Huion H640P tablet, Windows 10, Driver_14.8.165 & Driver_15.4.1.354. The software shows device disconnected. I have uninstall and reinstalling. PC is up to date. Tablet shows light indication, also brightens when pen is close and when pressing buttons. Tried it with other computers, it still doesn't connect. I hope you can give me solution for this one. Thank you.

  • Hi Yuan Ryle Orcullo, here's the link to download the driver you need: Huion HS64 Graphic Tablet Drivers. For your reference, here are some articles to guide you:

Hi 18leatherhoff, may you please provide the first 7 digits of your tablet so we can check which model you exactly have? The 1060 tablets have several series and the "Device disconnected" may have been caused by an incorrect or incompatible driver that you've installed.

Hi Mark Lim, you may want to check the steps you haven't done yet from this link:  What To Do When Huion Driver Shows Device Disconnected? If you have done so and the driver still can't detect your tablet, we will continue to assist you through your ticket so we can test your tablet further.
